## One-line description

Minted Protocol is a Canton-native institutional stablecoin protocol. mUSD is a non-yield-bearing payment settlement token under GENIUS Act §4(a)(1)/(2). smUSD is a separate Institutional Yield Vault for accredited and qualified institutional investors under Reg D 506(b) / Reg S.

Minted is the software protocol layer. Issuer-of-record, qualified custody, broker-dealer, ATS, transfer agent, validator, AML, and sanctions functions are operated by named regulated counterparties under a partner-of-record architecture.

- mUSD is non-yield-bearing. smUSD is a separate vault.
- Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. is the named GENIUS Act §4(a)(1) and §4(a)(2) Permitted Payment Stablecoin Issuer pathway. Anchorage holds the only OCC National Trust Charter for a federally-chartered digital asset bank in the United States.
